The latest report on the economic impact of the wine industry for the State of Michigan equates to 5.4 Billion dollars.   The growth of this industry in our state over the last decade shows that the 150 plus wineries located in Michigan contributes to a very positive effect on tourism, especially in our region here in southwest Michigan and the 22 wineries that make up the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail.   The Lake Michigan Shore AVA is considered the fruit belt of the state and we will work to continue growing the best grapes to produce the internationally awarded wines for your enjoyment.
