It’s Saturday Wine Down at 12 Corners Vineyards with Saxophonist Erick Fischer!

Erick Fisher, Benton Harbor native, remembers a childhood filled with memories of his mother playing music while doing chores, and his grandmother listening to the church choir send sweet voices and sounds of instruments into the atmosphere. As his love for worship grew, he began to fall in love with the sensual sounds of the saxophone. During his childhood until his high school years, Erick played the clarinet, but he could never forget the unique, intriguing sounds of the saxophone.

Erick's love for the saxophone increased and so did his discipline to learn his craft. Erick, self-taught saxophonist, has perfected his sound over the past 20 years. He now plays at local venues, churches, weddings, concerts, festivals, and corporate events. He continues to receive multiple invitations to perform at some of the most popular events in Southwest Michigan and nationwide. His unique ear for music, and ability to blend Gospel, Jazz, and R&B creates divinely inspired music that has a smooth sound and relaxes the soul. Locals have dubbed him “the artist who shifts the atmosphere”.
